The purpose of this role is to carry out the assigned duties, which include but no limit to:
– Collaborate with manager/ personnel, purchasing staff, and vendors to ensure adequate supply of materials by effectively receiving, inspecting, storing, retrieving, staging and delivering equipment, materials, and supplies.
– Verify materials (or goods) against receiving documents.
– Master and maintain accurate records in IFS system, including managing inventory items, running reports, troubleshooting, and supporting other system users.
– Conduct regular and/ or random audits of inventory or equipment.
– Identify issues or potential problem areas and collaborate with management to find solutions.
– Create standard warehouse reports and communicate information to the Line Manager.
Qualifications Required:
– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related technical field.
Other Requirements:
– Minimum 5 years of experience working in multinational companies, preferably in the shipbuilding industry, with at least 3 years in inventory control.
– Strong communication skills written and spoken in both English and Vietnamese.
– Computing skills in full suite of MS Application.
– Proactive, well-organized, and collaborative; with a positive and problem-solving mindset.
